InCom is the leading system for property administration in Denmark. The system handles residential tenancies from they become vacant, to tenants move in, rent is collected and until tenants move out. The system is marketed for medium and large private property administrators and housing associations and offers a wide range of add-on modules including 3rd-party integrations.
As a leader in this market, we have a close relationship with the major customers with whom we have established a strategic user forum. The current demand from customers is exceeding our capabilities to deliver and based on our insight we expect this to continue or even increase. Therefore, we have decided to strengthen our team with more developers and create the foundation for further growth.
InCom is developed on top of MS SQL in .NET Core with a REST API to interface a single page application in Angular. The legacy part of the system, written in Visual Basic 6 and ASP .NET, is currenly being modernized into this new technology stack. The modernization includes new user interface, code cleanup, restructuring and utilization of new technologies, which is expected to continue for the next couple of years alongside new development projects.
We seek junior frontend developers and expect you to strengthen our existing self-organizing Scrum teams with your expertise in .NET and Angular technologies, tools and automated testing. As a frontend developer in one of the Scrum teams of InCom, you will be part of our future journey and participate in both new projects and modernization of the existing technology.
InCom Aps is located in Herning - a city in the middle of Jutland. From Herning, there is easy access to the rest of the country, and the border to Germany is only a two hour car drive away.
The daily work
The daily work is performed inside the Scrum team and in coordination with the Products Owners in InCom.
Contact with users and clients can happen as part of the work and normally together with other team members.
- Data modelling between backend and frontend
- User interface design and responsiveness
- Performance testing, analysis and optimization
- Code reviews
- Automated testing
- Continuous integration and deployment
- Experience in Scrum and agile methods
Bachelor or master degree in computer science, engineering or a similar education.
The following technologies should be known:
- .NET Framework
- .NET Core
- Web services, MVC, WCF, REST APIs
- MS SQL
The following technologies and tools are an advantage:
- Entity Framework
We expect 1 to 3 years of practical experience as frontend developer working with .NET and Angular.
We expect English on a proficient or advanced level.
As a developer working in a distributed team, it is important that you:
- are a team player, who understands the importance of working together to achieve common goals.
- have good communication and collaboration skills
- are capable of working independently on your tasks
Your role in the team
As a Scrum team member you will participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
As one of the frontend developers in the team you will collaborate with team members to achieve the sprint goal and other frontend developers to ensure frontend architecture, code quality, application of technologies and tools and continuous improvements.
InCom uses Scrum. The distributed teams uses Jira, BitBucket, Confluence and Microsoft Teams as collaboration tools.
The position is new and part of hiring more frontend developer for InCom ApS due to an increasing demand from customers and modernization of legacy technology.
The candidate will be expected to move to the area to work from the office in Herning.
